Musical Arts Courses
(new students after '09)

Are you ready for the challenge of undertaking creative musical activities on the cutting edge of the latest music scene?

If you have ever wanted to arrange music, to become a music teacher, to study music as communication, or to become a music journalist, why don’t you think seriously about pursuing that dream at the Ferris University College of Music?

The College of Music has created a unique liberal arts program designed to help young musicians acquire all the skills they will need to understand, create, and perform new music. Operated jointly by performers, composers, and musicologists, this program is designed to provide students a solid background in the traditions of classical music while leading them forward into a musical world that transcends conventional notions of genre such as jazz, pops, or contemporary music.
